In this project we use Dallas Semiconductor's RTC DS12C887 to keep the time updated and display it on LCD for the end user. It can also give the alarm on user defined time. All the operations are controlled by 8-bit Microcontroller. Microcontroller read the time from DS12C887 RTC and display it on LCD in real time. It also controls the alarm.
